Seminars
Founded in 2009, the LWF Center Wittenberg organizes training, conferences, and seminars for participants from the 148 member churches of The Lutheran World Federation (LWF). In addition, it is the point of contact for visitor groups from across the world and oversees the international and ecumenical project “Luthergarten”.
People from all over the world come together at the LWF Center Wittenberg. They bring with them different cultures, ways of life, and faith experiences.
As we come together in this way, our usual perspectives are transformed. We are inspired and challenged. Together we listen to the Word of God, trusting that it bears the living truth. Together we study texts by Martin Luther and search for their meaning for our lives and for the witness and service we are called to today.
Through living, studying, and praying together, we can experience being part of the global body of Christ. Upon returning to our home countries, this experience remains a source of strength for our faith.
